Do NOT buy from CSN!Sep 05, 2010 These are my favorite pens HOWEVER they were evidentally advertised incorrectly on Amazon as a DOZEN when in actuality it was the price for ONE pen. Called CSN and their remedy was for me to send back all of the pens that I ordered and get a refund because they were unable to honor the advertised price. This is ridiculous! Get it right CSN! Check your ads before posting so that you don't lose customers over stuff like this!

Warning! This is NOT a 12-pack of pens, as described.Apr 02, 2010 This is a good pen. As a teacher, I value a pen with ink that flows freely and a fine point (for writing between the lines). Since I do a lot of grading, I also value a pen with a good ergonomic design, and I like being able to see when I am about to run out of ink. The only reason I rated this one star is because it is listed as a box of 12 pens, when what I actually received was a single pen. I was looking for a deal online to stretch my teacher's salary to cover the supplies that my school can't buy for me -- I was not looking for a way to throw away an extra few dollars on shipping so that I end up spending enough on one pen to cover an entire box at full price. For shame, whoever wrote this description. The rest of us have better things to do than second guess the descriptions we find on Amazon.
The day after I posted this review, I noticed that the price of the pen had doubled (then later tripled), the seller's name had been changed (the previous listed seller also let me know that their name was listed incorrectly), and someone had posted a five-star review (backdated several years) of the pen to counteract my one star. (The pen itself is indeed worth five stars!) Somebody's trying to pull the wool over Amazon's (and their customers') eyes here. Order these pens from a different seller! There are others listed on Amazon.
Further update: I checked the item page again a few months later just to see what had happened. Someone posted another review warning that you only get one pen, so the supplier name changed again and several more backdated positive reviews magically appeared. All of the current 5-star reviews appeared after my original review, but are dated before it. They're right in that this is a great pen -- I can't praise it enough -- but buy it elsewhere. (Especially since the price is now several times higher than it was before. Obviously the seller is still trying to convince you it's really 12 pens.)
Uni-Ball PenFeb 10, 2010 I use this pen to underline important information in my school notes. It writes especially dark and is very fine so it is easy to write notes in the margins. I love it!

caveat emptor - great pens but mediocre buying experience.May 09, 2009 these pens are fantastic, but i was expecting to get a box of 12 (per the item name) for this price. unfortunately, i received 1 pen for each "box" i ordered... the company wound up offering a 90% refund on the whole order, but if i bought them singly at the local surplus office supply store i would have paid less.
overall, GREAT pens but won't be ordering from this company again.
advice: contact the seller and confirm that you're getting what you think you are - nothing has changed on the listing as of the date of this post, and they ascribed the issue with my purchase to an "Amazon listing error" (anyone with experience listing with amazon will know that the company made the error, not amazon - amazon doesn't control the listing for sellers like this.
Can Any Rollerball Be That Good?Apr 11, 2009 Yes, it can! I can't count all the pens I've tried, but it's in the dozens of dozens. This is the one I could live with forever after. Thin profile, simple elegant clip, fantastic rubbery grip, instant drying waterproof ink, and a point worthy of a brain surgeon. You can also find them at Target in a two pack.
