You can use these ties for LOTS of different tasks. I use them for tidying up cables and cords, but I've also MacGyver-ed several things too. For example, I have a fan sitting on a table next to my work area. My cats like to jump on the table and knock the fan off of it. So, I secured the fan onto the table using these ties to strap it down. I used about 5 in a strip together and wrapped it under the table. It's not pretty, but I'm the only one that sees this area. I'm going to use them to create some sort of MP3 player holder for my bike handle-bars. I know I can buy one for $10-15 but I can make one in 5 mins with these I bet! If you're creative, these can be really, really handy and be used for tons of stuff.

I got this a few days after i ordered em and they work well
because i got 100 of them
i'm able to velcro tie everything in my house, nice and neat (just how i like it)
other velcro ties are so expensive that you have to pick and choose what to tie at home
with this you can do it all!
with the other expensive brands, yeah they do aesthetically look better
but for the price, no way.
why do you need to have a nice looking velcro ties anyway? they end up hidden behind the TV and other things
these are black, simple and they work, period.

These cable ties are great for fixing the rats nest of cables for your AV components. They work like a charm. A 100 for less than 8 bucks too!!!

This is kind of product, which makes you think after it's purchase "How I was living without it?"
Very handy product, keeps all my cables tied up and nicely looking. I bought this pack, thinking that 100pcs will be enough for all my tasks, but I was wrong. This product is so nice, that I use it on almost any cable.

These are a really great value and a great quality product. You get a ton of then for the price, so you don't have to worry about using them sparingly. You can go nuts with cable management without spending a lot.
One thing I'll point out is that the ties are made so that they will stay on a cord when you undo the bundle. So when they on used on a laptop cord or power tool, for example, you can unwrap the cable tie and still have it attached to the cord so that you won't lose it. This is really handy. Other Velcro style ties I've used just unwrap and then you you have to keep track of them so you can put them back on when your done. Since this stays on a cord when the whole thing is unwrapped, your never going to misplace your ties.
Because of this "always on the cord" feature, I've ended up using them more then I originally anticipated. At first I was just going to tie down the cords behind the T.V., but now I'm using them on power tools, kitchen appliances (toaster, stand mixer, coffee maker, etc.), laptop cords, etc. I've started to use these on any type of cord that I need to bundle up - either for storage reasons, to get a cleaner look, or just to keep the cord out of the way.
I can't believe how many uses I've found for these things. They are really useful to have around the house. And at this price for 100!! They really are a must have.
