 A 100 Velro brand wire tiesAug 30, 2010
A very usable item to have when needing to keeping loose wiring and cables better managed. Used several already to clean up my daughter's desktop and LCD monitor power cords/video cable; speakers and mouse cabling, etc under her desk. Short enough (8" x 1/2") to handle multiple cabling.

If you looked behind our TV or our PC's before these nifty little Velcro cable ties you would have saw a big cluttered mess of wires. I bought the expensive spools to roll your excessive wires onto but they were cumbersome and more work then I cared for. I like simple and straight forward, these Velcro cable ties are precisely that.

I look forward to that fantastic future of "wireless", but until then, I need something to manage those many boxes of tangled cables, cords, and wires we all accumulate, as well as making things look nice and tidy for those electronics that are set up for enjoyment. In the past, I've used tape, zip ties, cable ties, bungee cords, wire, and prayer to sort and keep things separated. I've found that this is THE best solution...it's reusable (as noted in the title of the product), it's easy to adjust (since it's velcro), and it's looks neat and clean (because it's self-gripping). Now I just need to swap over everything...

Velcro works very well, almost too well. A little difficult to wrap around smaller cables without having the velcro stick before I can tighten it. Great price for a reusable product. Seem durable enough that 100 should last a long time.

These are perfect for cleaning up cabling. I use them to tie together cables running to and from my desk to my desktop, monitor, speakers, etc. Very simple operation: tear one off the spool, punch out the hole, wrap up your cables, thread the end through the hole, velcro holds it all in place. I was looking at other brands on Amazon which were more expensive with less in the package. I'm happy I went with these. When you can get 100 ties for $9 you don't need to be stingy with the ties. Only annoyance is the use of velcro to close the bag which houses the spools of ties. It makes getting the velcro covered spools in and out more difficult then if they had just used "zip-lock," this is absolutely not a deal breaker though, and I would definitely recommend these.
