This is a nice bag.Jul 20, 2010
I didn't buy this bag from Amazon, but I do have a bag identical to the pictures of this one. It fits my 15" laptop okay, but my big hp pavilion with numeric keypad won't fit. I have used this bag to carry the 17" laptop, but it doesn't fit inside the foam-protected compartment very well (the zipper won't close all the way).
This bag has lots of storage space. I routinely carry a folding lapdesk, mouse, files, lots of cords and chargers, wallet, sunglasses, ipod and pda, etc, and this bag has space for it all.
The best feature is the retractable shoulder strap. I really like that. When I was first given the bag, I thought the strap would wear out soon, but I have been using it daily for a year, and it is still just as good as new.
Another nice feature is that the computer compartment opens fully.
Dislikes?
This bag is heavy when fully loaded! It is the size of a small suitcase, so beware if you like to travel light. It isn't meant to be an overnight bag, but if you were creative with your packing, you might make it do.
