I was really looking for an alternative to my moleskin notebooks. I loved them, but they were almost too nice - I never felt comfortable writing in my moleskin. It pained me, and therefore defeated their purpose.
I found these on Amazon, and they're awesome! Perfect size, not too big, not too small; not too many pages, not too few of pages. The paper is great, it's heavy and isn't too slick. The moleskin paper was almost shiny, and would smudge easily. The pages in this one, not so much.
Overall, I love these. I bought three to begin with, and will stock up on them now. These are a great replacement to carrying legal pads around to meetings all the time.

This product was exactly as I expected it to be. Has an overall nice faux leather feel at a great price. I was impressed with how nicely put together this product was. I only wish it came in a non ruled version and perhaps had a few more pages as it's a little on the slim side. All in all, a nice journal.

This journal is a medium sized journal and is around 150 pgs, making it ideal for carrying around in hand or in a bookbag. It is lined and convenient to write in--you can use the lines or ignore them for more of a free style writing.

elegant, but pages too thinMar 18, 2010
This is a really nice notebook. The cover is of high quality with a nice subtle design. It looks like it will hold up much better than my moleskine does with a lot of use. My one issue is that the paper is too thin and a little bit too porous, so some pens may wind up with their ink bleeding through. It does, however, handle a regular bic pen really smoothly, which is very helpful.

I love this journal. My wife gave it to me in case I die soon I can have my thoughts and writings on paper. As Henry Jones said, "I wrote it down so I didn't have to remember." (with a strong Sean Connery accent)
