 Stability problems.May 04, 2010
The concept of Painter is great and it delivers on the idea, except it's not very stable. I've had this program installed on two different computers an XP machine and now a Vista machine. It crashes much more often than Photoshop does, infact I don't remember photoshop ever crashing. Whereas painter X with the update installed crashes every third time I use it. If I could figure out a pattern then I'd just save before I did any crash worthy actions, but I haven't been able to figure out the pattern... Having the crashes happen on both my installs makes me think this isn't just my unlucky problem...
Suits the Needs of What I Was Looking ForFeb 03, 2010
Is this the do all/be all solution in it's field? Probably not. I reviewed several to purchase for a relative who studied CAD drawing. But his interests lie in art, designs, and tattoos to name a few. After careful review, I felt this would be the best to get him FOR A START until he decided, after more use, the features which would be more important to him. I gave the program to him for Christmas, and as it turns out, he was very pleased, because he happened to be using the trial version and I did not even know about it. He hasn't complained about the program yet.

It's a great product and I thoroughly recommend it for digital artsists of all ages. The package came on time, in perfect condition, and it was an excellent investment. If possible, try to read about it before buying, so that you can utilize it immediately.

I wanted Corel X but did not need the book so this purchase was perfect for me. I could not pass up this deal. Great Product and Great price. Works great with my Wacom tablet.

The product said it was new, but the serial number code didnt worked, he didnt helped at all, im a professional, and he only made me lose days and money, and what i regret most its that he complicated my deadline, i wont recomend to get more painter software from him, they arent new. Codes expired or were used.
