5Timex of Index Card StorageJun 06, 2012
By C. Coney
I've had this box sitting in a closet for almost 20 years, randomly storing whatever small items needed a place. Now that I'm back in college, it's the perfect storage for last semester's index cards. Paired with dividers to identify the different sections, my "collection" looks well organized and the box looks like new. I'll probably get a cheaper product next time (I'm in need of about 4 more boxes), but I know that they won't be as sturdy or hold up as well as this trooper. The small plastic "bookend" works great for filling in space if there aren't enough cards to fill the entire box. Completely full of cards, there's no bend in the box as I put it back into a closet.

5Ideal for storing 5.5x8.5 inch magazinesDec 26, 2013
By James D Keeline
I have about 14 of these boxes which are used to store magazines whose pages are the size of one half of a letter-size sheet. These publications are 5.5 x 8.5 inches and fit nicely in this type of box. I have even fit half legal size magazines (7 x 8.5 inches) in these. For full letter page magazines I lay them flat and the 8.5 x 11 pages fit inside nicely. This covers the various sizes of magazines I wish to file in a uniform size of boxes.

The plastic follower device will hold them upright if there is not enough to fill the box. Otherwise it can be removed. The boxes are sturdy enough to stack (say 6 high). For maximum access I place them on a bookshelf.

I need some more of these for my growing archive and expect to order some soon.

2too smallJul 04, 2012
By chromedome67
I bought two of these to hold business files that are on standard 4X6 index cards. The cards do not fit in these boxes properly. They have to be almost wedged in, thereby making it nearly impossible to finger through the files to find correct card. 1/8 or even 3/16th of an inch wider would have made a difference. Now they are just drawer-junk boxes and I'm shopping for new card file boxes.

5Great for greeting cardsOct 02, 2013
By Seypup
perfect size for greeting cards. fits a larger amount than the other boxes specifically made for greeting cards. This box also looks nice if you set it on a shelf.

I made some dividers on the computer and printed them on card stock, and then decorated the box with scrapbook paper, ribbon and a jeweled piece. looks great and all the cards fit without being too tight.

4Misleading AdvertisementAug 22, 2013

Good box and the follower is especially helpful, but the advertisement specifically stated that the box came with dividers. Beware buyers. There are no dividers.
