 The best tape for shipping!Jul 22, 2010
I love this tape for shipping because it is strong and very durable, but it is so expensive to buy at a local retailer. The applicator and cutter make using this tape so easy. This multiple roll package offers a great price plus no tax and free shipping. Would like to see less packaging material, maybe the 6 rolls packed into a recyclable plastic bag in lieu of the overwrapped cardboard tray.

Strange, I know. But the truth is, I've been buying tape from my local post office for $3.19 per roll. the price of these 3M ones are almost the same, but I figured they were better quality.
Simply put, they're not.
They don't stick as well, and they feel far thinner than the ones the post office sells. Both are even the same length (2 inches wide, 800 inches long).
I'd just buy the ones at my post office.

I use this tape all the time. As do I the tan packing tape. I use the tan for sealing backs of packages. The clear for taping over address labels, return labels to insure they do not smear shoud the package be caught in the rain. I have tried the less expensive "off" brands, or house brands of clear tape and always come back to the 3M brand name. This tape is thicker than less expensive tapes. Has superior adherence quality and is just plain better, in my opinion. What I do not understand is WHY, the exact same size roll of TAN from the same manufacturer, is LESS money than the clear costs. Ideas anybody?
I would buy this tape over and over again and have been doing so for years.

This may sound silly, but we have nearly run out of ideas of cheaper things to put into the Christmas stockings of our family. So, what do you do when someone has almost everything? A Ferarri will not fit in a Christmas stocking so they will get tape, with a cheap but effective dispenser. They will be most gratefull. Merry Christmas.
Seriously, this is a reasonable value for high quality packing tape including a small but effective dispenser. The rolls of tape are on the small side, but when you considewr the cost of six dispensers and the same number of rolls of tape, it is not a bad deal. If fact, it is a better deal than a Ferarri.

It dispenses tape easily and fast. I've tried many clear packaging tapes in the past and this is by far the best. It is very thick for a clear tape, which is great because it never rips. I sell many items on eBay and this tape really gets the job done.
